Terms of Service

Effective October 18, 2026

GatherEcho (gatherecho.com) operates this service. In these pages, “GatherEcho,” “we,” and “us” mean GatherEcho. You can reach us at support@gatherecho.com. A “host” is the person who creates and pays for an album; a “guest” is anyone who uses an album’s link or QR code.

By creating an album, uploading to one, or otherwise using GatherEcho, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. The service

GatherEcho gives hosts a private web album for an event, with a guest link and QR code, printable QR card designs, guest uploads without accounts, a gallery and slideshow, an optional audio guestbook, and full-quality downloads. Features may improve or change over time.

2. Packages and payment

3. Upload window and files

Guests can upload for 12 months after the event date, unless the host sets a different close date. After uploads close, the host can still view and download the album. Each file can be up to 2 GB.

4. Host responsibilities

5. Guest uploads

Only upload content you took or have the right to share, and nothing that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy. The host decides whether the gallery is shown to guests and can hide or delete any upload. Hosts understand that guest content can be unpredictable.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload; GatherEcho claims no ownership of album content. You give us permission to store, back up, process, display, and deliver it only as needed to run the service for the host and guests of that album.

7. Keep your own copy

We back up uploads and work to keep albums available, but GatherEcho is not a permanent archive. Please download your album (the dashboard offers a one-click ZIP) and keep your own copy.

8. Printed cards

Printing your own QR cards from the designs we provide is free. Printed and delivered cards are not yet available to order online; you can request them by email. When ordering opens, printing and shipping will be handled by our print partner, Gooten, and any additional terms will be shown before you order.

9. Suspension and removal

We may remove content, restrict uploads, or suspend an album if needed to protect people or the service, to follow the law, or because of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms. Where reasonable, we will contact the host first.

10. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep GatherEcho reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these Terms, and we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, GatherEcho will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the album in question during the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. Before filing any claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use GatherEcho after an update means you accept it. Questions: support@gatherecho.com.
